It snowed last night. Sheesh. So, I got out all the snow paraphernalia, bundled up the kiddlins and we went out into the frozen whiteness. Erin loooves to eat snow, she remembered it from the spring. The first thing she said when she saw it was "now I can eat snow!" I think Rylee was confused about what was going on. I put on her snow boots, but she couldn't walk in them. They made her fall down a lot. Luckily, all her warm snow clothes cushioned her falls! I had to put on a different pair of boots, though so she would stop crying.
She still wasn't overly happy. I'm not sure if it was because she was tired, or the boots, or the cold, or what. She never really came around.
Then she fell down on her face in the snow...
then decided she would eat while she was down,
then cried about it. Poor kid.
Cute little snow girls in their purple coats!
I had to take this picture, even though she was crying really sadly the whole time. I'm mean sometimes.
Erin made a snow angel.
Rylee sat in a chair and scowled at me.
Then Erin and I made a "snow minnie". She's been watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse a lot lately and apparently there is a snow minnie on it! Here she is with her first Snow man! Cute, huh!

Witchfest 2012
Yesterday we went to the Witchfest at Gardiner Villiage.
Our first stop, however, was Critter Country. Erin and Rylee got to feed and pet the animals, right up close. It was really fun.
There was also a straw maze, and we spent about an hour walking around in it. Both the girls really liked it. I think Rylee mostly liked it because I let her be free and just walk wherever she wanted. It was closed in so I wasn't afraid of loosing her.
"I did it!"
There was a trampoline in the middle of the maze, Rylee really liked it. She jumped all by herself.
Erin even got to hold a bunny! They were kind of nippy and one tried to eat a piece of her hair.
Then we went to watch witches. Erin would not let me take her picture with them. She also would not wear her witch hat, and Rylee wouldn't either. Party poopers.

I just love Rylee's face in this one!
It was really fun, and I hope we can do it again next year!

Erin's New Bedspread
I have actually had this bedspread for Erin for about 6 months and I finally got around to washing it and putting it on her bed. She loves her new "pretty" bed.

Let the Good Times Roll
So we had this pass for a free tractor hay ride to the pumpkin patch. I thought it would be really fun. I love pumpkins! We went on a hayride last year when Rylee was about 2 months old. It was fun, then, so why not now? I'll tell you why. She is mobile now. She did not want to wait in line for an hour and she did not want to sit on the tractor. She was miserable! She had fun about the first two minutes of the actual ride, then she lost it. She also lost a shoe somewhere on the trail, my favorite shoe of hers right now. It was a looong ride.
I thought I might get some cute pictures, but all I got was Rylee crying and Erin giving the long stare of the sleepy girl. Erin was upset because the ground was bumpy and viney and she kept tripping. She found the perfect pumpkin, and even I liked it, but then she traded it for a very ugly one when we were waiting to get back on the tractor. Sheesh.
Here is Rylee crying cuz she only had one shoe and couldnt walk in the field. Oh well, maybe next year it will be better...
