Rylee is 5 Months Old!

Rylee is getting so big so fast!  This month she is really starting to develop a personality.  She laughs and talks all the time, even babbling in her sleep.  It's really cute, I even have to smile when she's doing it a 5 in the morning.  She thinks her sister is the most hilarious thing in the world and laughs her head off at her whenever Erin pays attention to her.  She can almost sit up all by herself.  She started eating Rice cereal, and she is really excited about that.  She is wearing 6 to 12 month clothes already, although she still wears 3-6 month socks.  Love those tiny feet!  She is in the 95th percentile for height and weight.  She's my big girl! Plus, she now has a tooth!  It's just barely poking out, but it's definately there!

Erin's First Hair Cut

Erin is 2 year, 10 months and 1 day old, and she just got her first hair cut. She barely is starting to get hair at all, and now we've cut it off. I am kind of sad, but it is cute, and it will grow back, so it's okay. I'm sure it is.
We took her to cookie cutters and she did really well. I even got to keep some of her tiny blond hairs. Sometimes I am silly. These pictures are from Tyson's phone, so they are kinda blurry. Sorry, but it's all we have.

Here are the before pics, her hair is always in her eyes, so we decided we should cut it.

She kept turning her head and talking to the lady that was cutting her hair.

She cut about an inch off the back.

Then she put it in cute pig tails, which Erin immediately wanted out because they hurt her.

I'm not sure why this picture is on the side but here is the final product, what it will look like every day now.  It's much cuter in person!

Rylee's First Food

So today we fed Rylee her first "real food". Which was very runny rice cereal. She was all gungho at first, but then she lost patience.   It wasn't quite as funny as Erin's first try, but still cute!

She didn't quite get the hang of swallowing what was in her mouth, and it kept just dribbling down her face.

Then she just tried to eat it from the bowl, which was funny, because so did her big sis...

This is Erin back on her first try. Ha Ha!

I guess we'll just keep trying!

Shoveling Snow

We finally got another snow storm! The first one was about a month ago, and only left us with about 3 inches. This time it was about a foot, and we actually had to shovel. And by we I mean Tyson, with Erin tagging along making it difficult. For some reason she wanted to wear her bumblebee wings, even though she did not want to wear them for Halloween. I thought these were really funny with her snow suit and bumblebee wings shoveling snow.

She had to have her own shovel, which we really don't have, so I found her this garden shovel and she was happy.  We sure had a hard time getting her mittens on, and could only get one thumb in the whole, so she had to hold the shovel with only one hand.  She wasn't too happy about that.

Her favorite thing to do with snow is eat it.

My funny little snow bee.

Smilee Rylee

I'm glad we named our baby Rylee, cuz she's Smiley all the time,
and we can call her Smilee Rylee, cuz it sure does rhyme.
But lately I've been thinking that we should have named her Julie,
Because the little girl is always positively Droolie
