Christmas Day

Christmas this year was such a blast, like always!

Here is the scene as the Jolly Old Elf left it!  All ready for the girls...

Erin liked her bike...

But I think she liked Rylee's excersaucer better.

Apparently Rylee feels the same way about monkeys as I do.  Which is hate.  She had this look of utter confusion for the whole morning.  She hasn't really had toys yet, so she wasn't sure what was going on!

She liked her chew toys, though!

Erin had a blast digging in the stockings and seeing what was in them.

We had her help Rylee with her stocking, and they all read this book together.  It was adorable.

I have never been able to sleep at all on Christmas Eve, I guess it's hereditary.  We all were up earlier than usual.

There's that look again; she was really funny!

After we saw what Santa brought, we hopped in the car and went up to Gma's for more presents and delicious breakfast.  I can't believe the pile of presents that Gma and Gpa got them!

Here we are enjoying our Christmas books.

After Gma and Gpa Adamson's house we went down to Grandma and Grandpa Ericksen's house for yet more presents. I didn't get any pictures there because there are so many people unwrapping presents that there is no time for the camera.  We still had a lot of fun, though!

I would like to thank all of my family for everything they do for me and my family, not just at Christmas but all year long.  I am so lucky to have all the family I do, and I am happy to share them all with my girls.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is every bit as fun as Christmas Day in our family.  First, we went to Aunt Terry's house for a day of eating, eating, eating and opening presents.  Oh, and eating.  Thankyou Aunt Terry for all the food and fabulous gifts, you are awesome.

Then we went home to prepare for the Jolly Old Elf.

I absolutely LOVE the pictures we got this year.  It has been so fun to have our complete little family all here and celebrating together.  Even though Rylee is only 4 months old, she was so fun to have with us this Christmas.  It was really hard to narrow it down to only these pics to show you, but I did it!

Here is our traditional opening of the one present on Christmas Eve (which is always pjs, in case you didn't  know) .  Erin really got the whole opening presents thing this year.  She started out slow, but by the end of Christmas Day she was a pro.

These were my pjs that Tyson got me...they were much cuter on the girls than me.

I was so excited to find coordinating pjs for the girls and Tyson, although his are orange (his favorite color).

Here is Erin puttin out cookies for Santa.  As you can see, she decided that she better taste them for him and make sure they were good.

And she drank his milk.

I particularly love these cookie pictures because you can see that we were watching the "Claymation Christmas Celebration".  It is without a doubt my favorite Christmas "movie" of all time.  You can make fun of me if you want.  I don't care.  I LOVE it.

And, of course, Erin also spilled Santa's milk.  Our day is not complete until she has spilled at least two things.  I hope Santa likes his Nilla Wafers soggy, like me.

All in all, it was the perfect Christmas Eve!

We're Back!

Okay, after a 4 month break, we finally have a computer again!  It has been awful not to have one, but it's over now.  So here are a few posts that I missed over these long, dreadful, computerless days.  Hopefully it's not too confusing; they are sort of abbreviated, but now they will be better!  Just scroll down to the 'Goodbye Bowling Ball' post and then go up from there!  See you soon!

Rylee is 4 Months Old!

December 15, 2011

I did get a picture of her smiling, but it was very similar to last month's picture, so I thought you'd enjoy a different expression.  Rylee is so happy all the time, except from about 6 pm to 9 pm.  We think she has acid reflux, like her sister, and by that time of night it finally is too much for her to take smiling.  Poor kid.  But otherwise she is still our smilee Rylee!  She laughed for the first time this month; she thinks her daddy's face is hilarious.  I love to listen to her laugh.  It is the best sound (other than her sister's laugh, too.)  She is trying hard to sit up on her own, but can't quite do it yet.    She loves to watch her sister and smiles, laughs and talks to her, too.  I think they will be great playmates in a few months, but Rylee, don't get there too fast!

Rylee is 3 Months Old!

November 15, 2011

I managed to catch that smile on camera! Isn't she adorable! She is our Smilee Rylee!! She will always smile back at you! She is getting good at holding her head up, but still doesn't like tummy time too much. She adores her older sister and she really wants to join in Erin's crazy antics. Tyson also thinks she really really wants to eat the food she watches us eat! She is trying very hard to talk and she makes noises all the time.  She is so loveable and cuddly I could just eat her up!!

Halloween Buzzziness

Here are my little love bugs! I wanted Rylee to bee able to wear Erin's ladybug costume from her first Halloween, but Rylee is too small! So we got her some ladybug jammies and all was good. She probably wouldn't have liked that costume, anyway. It is so fun to have coordinating costumes for my two adorable girls! Love it! This year we went trick-or-treating in our own neighborhood. We haven't done that yet. It was really fun--once Erin stopped beeing a pain in the butt. She refused to even get dressed, and we had to pretend that we were all leaving her before she would even get her diaper on. Then she would not wear her wings! Ug!!  She finally decided to come outside with us, and once she figured it out, she had a blast!  The weather was perfect, not too cold, but a little nip in the air!  I loved doing it at our house.  I made the traditional chili-though it wasn't as good as Mom's, it passed!
Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

This month I swear she is smiling back at us! So adorable, and a little bobble head!

Still just a tiny little sprout! She is not doing much these days except looking adorable, eating, sleeping and filling her diaper!

Goodbye, Bowling Ball...

This is me at 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant. The last day before the big day. Tyson took this picture, that's why it's fuzzy. After tonight I will no longer have to lug this more than 8 pound bowling ball around! Woo Hoo!

4th of July!

We kept things pretty mellow this year, but still had fun! We decided to skip the Grand Parade in Provo, since it has been sooo crowded and we haven't gotten to actually see much in the past couple years. So, we just headed down to the Fourth of July Extravaganza at Aunt Terry's.

What goes on at the Extravaganza? Food! Here is Erin enjoying some concessions, nachos without the cheese. I love the look on her face!

Here's Pyro Tyson, our firemaster, lighting some fireworks for the kids.

Trying to see the parachute that went into the neighbor's back yard.

Trying to sheild the match from the wind, it didn't work too well...

Fish pond!

Grandma E's neighbors have decided to have turkeys in their yard, Erin had a blast chasing them around. It was hilarious!

Annie helping Erin with poppers.

Ammon and Erin helping Tyson set up.

This year was a much better show, since they had newly legal fireworks, they are way cooler. Erin was half afraid, or she thought they were too bright to look at or something; she would cover her eyes and look down, then clap and say yay when they were done. It was really funny! Well, see ya next year!

Family Pictures, June 2011

I've been trying to post these for a while now, and blogger wasn't cooperating. They're here now! I think they turned out pretty cute, despite Erin being a little pill and not cooperating at all. Maybe her next pictures will be better. These were taken by Camille Garrison, check out her website on my link to the right!

Here is me, 30 weeks preggo.

Tracy Aviary

Yesterday we went to the Tracy Aviary. I was picturing just a marshy path that you have to look really hard for birds. I was wrong! It was way fun and the birds were right in your face! Erin loves to chase birds and then she says "flew away" and is sad. It's pretty fun to watch. She had a blast at the aviary, although she was a little sleepy. It was finally warm enough for her cute new summer clothes! Yay!! Don't worry, she has plenty of sunblock on.

She stuck her finger through this fence to touch this bird, and- surprise! It bit her. She was a little reluctant the rest of the time because of that. I should have known it would do that. My bad.

She still had lots of fun watching them! Fuzzy, but cute.

She wanted to get closer to the flamingoes.

Then we had a blast feeding the Sun Conures. We held peices of apples and they flew right onto our hands. It was way fun. Erin didn't want to actually touch them, but she loved looking at them so close. I really loved doing this, I could do it every day! Weee!

So, if you're looking for a fun day, go to the aviary!
