After Provo we went to Bountiful to Grandma Ericksen's house. We had a hunt for real eggs there. I think Erin had more fun on this one. She loves her cousin "Ammy".

All in all, we had a lot of fun this Easter! Thanks everyone who made it that way!!

When we finally got Erin in the car we went down to Provo for the Big Hunt. I thought Erin would be more into it this year, now that she knows what candy is. She did okay, but not super excited.

She really liked the bubbles, she got a lot more in her mouth than the air, though. She thought it was pretty tasty.

Here she is tearing up all the grape hiacinths. Don't worry, they are monters and will always come back even stronger.

After her Easter basket and breakfast, we got her dressed in her cute dress Aunt Ashlee got her. It was much cuter on her than the hanger, of course. What clothes could not be cute on this little girl?

She decided instead of getting in the car she wanted to take a walk in her new dress. I chased her around the block trying to get a front picture of her, but she's too fast for me! These are the best I could capture!

She looks so cute in pigtails, and she actually let me put them in with a minimum of struggle, but as soon as we were in the car she pulled them out. Sigh. So these are the only cute "antennae" pictures you get, hope you enjoyed them!

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came to our house! Erin was excited! She loved all the stuff in her basket. Easter eggs filled with "Littlest Pet Shop" animals, books, stuffed animals, bubbles, chalk, and of course candy!

She knew the foil wrapped bunny was "chock" and wanted to eat it immediately, but we told her she had to have a muffin first. Here is her stash waiting for after breakfast. Ha ha!

Coloring Eggs

We let Erin color eggs this year! I thought she was still a little young, but she did well. It was quite fun. She wanted to dip them over and over again, and in the same cup, which didn't work so well, but she had a lot of fun.

Forget the dipper, just use your hands...

She liked putting them on the dryer, too.

Napkin?

Ah, look at these beauties!

More Easter fun to come!

Camera!

Erin likes to get her pictures taken sometimes. She finds the camera on the desk and gives it to me and says "cheese". The results are often very funny!

Too bad her face is so dirty in these pictures, they are really cute!

Erin's 2nd Birthday, Part 3

For Part 3, we went with my family to the aquarium. Erin loves to see the fishies. I didn't get many pictures there, cuz it's dark, but she had fun. Here she is looking at a frog in the luxurious "Wetlands of Utah" exibit. It's not too exciting, but she liked the frogs and the boat.

She is finally getting the idea about blowing out the candles! She did it all by herself!! So cute! Later she wanted to clap and say "I did it" when she blew out the scented candle I was burning. Funny!

G-ma gave her this awesome trampoline toy, she looooves it! It's a good way to burn off extra two-year-old energy. Bonus, she got to "help" dad put it together, her favorite activity. It was a pretty low-key birthday this year, but they can't all be huge deals, right? Thanks everyone for making it fun!

Erin's 2nd Birthday, Part 2

So, I didn't take very good pictures of Erin's birthday this year, I was too busy trying to keep her in line. There are a few, though. For the second installment, we had dinner and cake at Grandma Ericksen's house. Erin was kind of grumpy, and all she really wanted was some cherry frosting. Here she is finally getting what she wanted. She didn't even really want her presents at Grandma's, but later on she really liked them.
She got lots of cute clothes, a backpack full of fun stuff to do, some fun puzzles, a cute stuffed lamb, and a powerwheels four-wheeler just her size. She is still not sure about driving it, but she is liking it more and more. When she's not crashing, that is. Thanks everyone for all the great presents!
