My Little Helper

Erin thought it would be really fun to help me "clean" the toilet today. It's too bad it doesn't actually help. What would really help is if she would use the toilet. That would be a win win situation--she wouldn't have to cry about getting her diaper changed, and I wouldn't have to change it!! It's probably a little too early for that, though, right?

I just had to share these peonies with you. They are so gorgeous. I'm going to have to plant some in my yard. They are only available at the flower shop for about two weeks, and we never know when, so unfortunately we cannot plan on them for such things as weddings. It's sad.

Like mother like daughter!

There is a picture in my scrapbook of me in my toybox. Here is the next generation. It's pretty darn cute. Notice though, that most of the toys are not in the toybox.

Unraveled!

So it finally happened. I didn't think she would do it because usually aren't they younger? I thought she just didn't notice the toilet paper roll. Well, she found it. It was almost new, too. I have to say, it was pretty funny. This kid cracks me up!!

P.S. How do you like her hairdo?

furniture slidin'

We are in the process of moving a room from downstairs to upstairs, and Tyson thought that Erin would like to mattress slide. She had a lot of fun! I think it's hilarious that she has her bagel in her hand. She would take a bite after every slide!

Family Day

Sunday is the only day of the week that all three of us are together. Sometimes we do something fun. Sometimes we spend the whole day in the house being lounge lizards. Today we went and got hair cuts (not Erin, she doesn't have much hair), then we went to lunch at Olive Garden, Erin's favorite restaraunt, then we fed the ducks. Unfortunately I forgot to bring the camera to feed the ducks, but Erin looooves this activity. It is something I remember loving to do when I was little(truth be told, I still love to do it) and I'm so glad she likes it, too. She had a blast. Besides feeding the ducks she also had fun pushing her stroller instead of riding in it, looking at the dogs at the park and eating some of the bread herself (It wasn't old and stale, we bought it at Walmart for 75 cents a loaf--Best bread price I've ever seen!)
After all that she actually took a two and a half hour nap! We must have tired her out. Then we played in the back yard on her slide. She finally figured out how to go up the ladder herself, and she tried to go down frontways, but was not successful. Here are some shots of her going down backwards. Sorry there aren't funner pictures than this! Hope you had a good weekend!

Disney Land!

Why is it that you always look fatter in pictures than the mirror? Well, here are just a few of our Disney Land Pictures! We have more pictures on other people's cameras, so I will post them as soon as I collect them...

A Bug's Land was really fun, the babies could ride almost every ride.

Me and Erin looking at the stick bug

Beautiful flowers, I have to take a picture of them!

I also have to take pictures of the topiarys, I love the Disney landscaping!!

The babies actually had no trouble sleeping in the stroller

Silly brothers!

Erin had a blast with anything to do with water. She was loving Roger's Fountain!!

One of her favorite rides was the carousel at Paradise Pier, California Adventure.

Wasn't this the cutest Minnie! I love her outfit. This is our picture, the professional we are looking at probably is cuter.

Water Baby!

Here she is having a blast in the pool and drinking the water. Don't worry, the entire trip she was covered in an inch of sunblock.

These sunglasses were so adorable, but of course she wouldn't wear them even for a picture. This is the best I got.

Cousin Ammon with the goats in Critter Country, Disney Land

Erin tried to roll on the goats just like she does with Fidg. It didn't work so well.

Hopefully I can get more pictures, this was just a sample! I loved riding the rides with Erin, she had fun on most of them. Her favorites were: It's a Small World, The Enchanted Tiki Room, The
jungle cruise and Aladin, the musical. She had the biggest blast watching the live version, there was a great big elephant that really made her dance and sing! That's all for now!
