Special K

So this morning I was sharing my cereal with Erin for breakfast. It quickly became Erin's cereal...

She was using the spoon really well! So, I just let her have it!

This pic is when she discovered the craisins at the bottom. She actually liked them and ate quite a few, even dug for them and got them on the spoon!! I was so proud of her!!

Of course, I got too cocky. This is the end of the cereal. She tried to pick it up and drink the milk out of the bowl. I thought about crying over the spilt milk, but it was more funny than sad. She just looked at me and made her "what happened?" sound. I can't spell it for you, but it's pretty funny!

Randomness

So I haven't posted in a while because I haven't gotten any good pictures. I still didn't, but here are some okay pics. For those of you who don't know, Erin has graduated to a toddler bed, because she decided one night to climb out of her crib. So far it has gone pretty well, she has to cry herself to sleep, but it's really not a lot different than her crib. She has actually slept better through the night than before we did this. It is really sad if she decides to get out of bed and pound on her door, though. Here is her new bed situation. It's sad, she's growing up already!

Her room looks so big and bare; we took everything out so she wouldn't hurt herself during the night. She's so small in her big room!

She loves to get in and out of her bed, until she has to go to sleep, then she doesn't want to be anywhere near it!

Here's her first kool-aid mustache! don't mind the other mess on her face, that's just normal.

We just thought this was a really funny picture.

We had blintzes for dinner one night, she decided she only liked the whip cream part. I should have known, I guess.

Erin is a crazy climber! She loves to climb on the TV table and point out people's eyes and noses, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her doing that without it being all blurry. Of course, we are watching Friends.

Well, no big stories, but at least you got something!

Sink Sittin'

So this is Erin's new favorite place to be. She doesn't even want to stay in the bath long enough to get washed, she just wants to climb up onto the toilet, then onto the counter. Thankfully she hasn't figured out how to turn on the water, yet!

She had decided that the candle doesn't taste too good.

She likes to move everything from one side of the sink to the other, then back again. She reminds me of her Dad and his pennies. Scary.

I love her face in the mirror. Funny girl!

Dumpster Diving

So this morning Erin and I were watching a movie downstairs, and I was falling asleep on the couch. Then I thought - it's too quiet for me to be falling asleep. Where is the child? So I went in search of the child. This is what I found:

She was quietly sitting at the coffee table eating a Honey Barbecue Boneless Wing from Wendys.

She was quite enjoying it, too.

It is very very messy. Where did she get it?

Further investigation led me to the garbage can, of course.

She was so happy with herself that I didn't have the heart to take it away. I was weak. Hopefully she won't get sick!!

First you take the peanuts and you crush 'em

I was a little nervous about giving Erin Peanut Butter, you here so many horror stories about peanut allergies. Very Scary. But I finally read the ingredients on some granola bars I'd been feeding her for a while (I know, I should pay better attention) and saw that it contained almonds, peanuts and other nuts. So, apparently she wasn't allergic. So, I gave her a full blown Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. She tends to not really like any food, but this she seems to tolerate for the moment. She ate probably 3/4 of a regular sized sandwich the first time, and she will usually eat a half now. I like it. I does make a horrible mess, though.

Look at it all down her arm!

She delighted in covering this bowl with sticky icky mess, too. It was just barely washed, too.

Even in her eyebrows!

Splashy, Splashy!

Erin and I and Aunt Jess and Ammon were all bored one day, so we decided to go down to the gateway and play in the splash pad. Erin had an absolute blast, Ammon had an okay time. Here are some random pics in no particular order except for cuteness.
