Hoppy Easter!

Don't you love Erin's Easter dress, given to her by Aunt Ashlee? Erin is always stylin', thanks to our family, not to me. Well, the easter bunny did find Erin this year, last year she was only a few days old and didn't really get a visit from him. Some would say The Easter Bunny went crazy, while others would say he was very calm indeed. Erin got a big stuffed bunny, a little stuffed bunny and a medium stuffed lamb;

A tiny dove chocolate bunny, yellow chick peeps (which I think are yucky but you have to have them in your easter basket {because of the cuteness}) and some mini cadbury creme eggs--

Which she ate foil and all, she wasn't too sure about that. She loved them without the foil, though;

Easter Little People, an egg with a grow-your-own-easter-pet, a grow-a-flower egg, A wind-up butterfly in an egg;

Four easter-y books;

Bubbles, which I think were old because they did not give a good performance;

and of course easter grass--

Which of course will be all over the house until next easter.

After the Easter Bunny came to our house, we went down to Aunt Terry's house for the Big Hunt. The weather did not cooperate. So we had to hunt inside the house. It's a very small house, especially when there are Eight children hunting 47 pounds of easter candy in it.

Here's Erin "finding" her first Easter Egg, she didn't quite know what to do with it.

We tried to get her to put it in her basket, but she couldn't grasp the concept.

She has, however, grasped the concept of eating the candy inside...if only we could get her to take off the wrappers, first.

Gma makes everything great...She gave Erin the Easter Little People set that all her people can play in. Plus lots of other easter treats (including the 47 pounds of hunt candy), and Easter lunch. Thanks Gma for everything you do for us! We love you!!

After the big hunt we went to Grandma Ericksen's house for dinner. Almost the entire time we were there Erin's cousins took turns pushing her around in this little shopping cart. She cried when we tried to take her out. Thanks Jessica for pushing her so much!

Hoppy Easter Everyone!

Easter sounded like it was tons of fun. We had a lot of fun too but Ammon didn't get much. I don't like hard boiled eggs, I knew I would end up eating most of the candy so I didn't buy very much of it and I already have easter stuff at home so I didn't want buy anything to nice (so I got a cheap o basket) plus whatever I bought I would just be packing in a week. So the easter bunny was very considerate of my feelings this year and kept the present very modest(which I think Nate appreciate too... wallet wise). Thank you Easter bunny! We will have to come home and play with all the toys the easter bunny got Erin and help her eat her candy lol ;)Ammon loved the candy too. He figured out how to get the little plastic eggs open and started shoveling the candy in his mouth.

So fun! I'm sad I missed it. And yes, Erin did look adorable in that dress! It's easy to dress a kid as cute as that. :)
